We were invited to join two differents friends family traditions this weekend. Saturday we spent borrowing our church's kitchen to make an abundance of cookies! Yummy the results of cooking from 9am til 5pm with 4 other women and my hubby (who made the rum balls!)!
Then on Sunday, despite the very snowy weather, we joined in gingerbread house making fun! plastic sheets on the floor is a good idea! Here are the results! (I found it strange that the others were talking of their plans to eat their houses. Eat th

The few times I've made gingerbread houses, they've gotten stale long before it would have been appropriate to eat them!
we've just snacked a few of the candies off in lew of eating the whole thing!
